Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns was created specifically for an art exhibit to represent the Christian faith. It was inspired by the hard, rugged and stiff wiring, representing the definitive and necessary pain that was endured by our Savior, Jesus Christ. The red tips of the barbs represent the blood which came from Christ's pierced flesh. This artpiece was the 2nd place winner at the StreetGrace Ministry Art Exhibition at the Watson Gallery in Midtown Atlanta in October, 2011

Bald Eagle

Bald Eagle was captured in Alaska, just after a light rain. Although there were several varied shots of this beautiful creature, this expression encompasses a determination, seriousness and fortitude that feels partriotic and inspirational. The ruffled feathers remind me that battles are not won easily and we may get dirty in a hard fight. This image won first place in the Not Your Run of the Mill Art Show in Hoschton, Georgia in 2016. It is registered with the Library of Congress.

Vervet Monkey

Vervet Monkey was a favorite image selected as a Weekly Favorite from Africa Geographic in March 2020. This honorable selection nominated me for the 2019 Photographer of the Year. The image was captured on the premiere Never the Rock Photography-Guided Tour in November of 2019. Curious Penguin

Curious Penguin was selected as the Wildlife Photo of the Day by WWF Natural Habitat Adventures. This adorable image was captured on a beautiful day in the breath-taking Galapagos Islands in 2016.
